Technical Service Representative

Melissa Kuhmichel is a technical service representative at Earthwise Environmental Inc., Bensenville, Ill. She provides service support and solutions for customers utilizing a variety of water treatment products, equipment and supplies, as well as environment friendly solutions.

With three years in the water management and treatment industry, she has experience in commercial office buildings, and plastic injection and pharmaceutical plants.

Her professional background includes an internship with the Kane County Health Department, Aurora, Ill. She assisted the mosquito abatement officer with the surveillance, prevention and awareness of the West Nile virus. Her duties included placing mosquito traps throughout Kane County and testing the mosquitoes for West Nile virus and encephalitis.

Kuhmichel is a member of American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers; National Association of Corrosion Engineers; Association of Water Technologies; Cooling Technology Institute; and Chief Engineers Association. She received her bachelor's degree in environmental health and microbiology from Western Illinois University, and lives in Chicago.
