Larry McLaughlin, CWT

District Manager, Midwest Region

Larry McLaughlin is a Certified Water Technologist (CWT) and District Manager – Midwest region at Earthwise Environmental Inc., Bensenville, Ill. He manages the growing company's team of water management professionals and specializes in client service and communications.

A valued member of the Earthwise Environmental team for more than six years, McLaughlin was previously a field account manager with the company. A veteran with more than 30 years in the water management and treatment industry, he is experienced in specialty applications including pharmaceutical plants, college/university power plants, hospitals, commercial office buildings, cogeneration plants and plastic injection/blow molding facilities.

He earned his CWT designation through the Association of Water Technologies in 2007. The CWT is the highest industry credential awarded to professionals in the industrial and commercial water treatment field. Earthwise Environmental has five CWTs on staff, more than any other water treatment firm in Illinois.

McLaughlin received his bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is a graduate of the Betz Laboratories Educational Services professional training program. In addition to AWT, he is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers; National Association of Corrosion Engineers; Cooling Technology Institute; and Chief Engineers Association. He lives in Mount Prospect, Ill.
