Robert Miller, Founder of Earthwise Announces Retirement

Robert Miller, founder, former CEO and President of Earthwise Environmental, Inc. announces his retirement after a long and successful career in the water treatment industry.

Bob pushed for innovation and safety in an industry dominated by large chemical manufacturers, keeping his business lean and nimble by partnering with suppliers and hiring talented people committed to the same goals of optimizing water for use in the most efficient way.

In September 2023, Bob sold Earthwise to Water Engineering, Inc, led by David Wagenfuhr, CEO. Bob stayed on to ensure the transition was successful, and is now prepared to move on to his next adventure.

 In Bob's words: "After 50 years of working, and almost 25 running my own business, it’s time for me to start playing more golf and spending more time with my 5 grandkids, along with getting my Medicare card!

A special shout out to everyone that helped me make Earthwise what it is today. I cannot say “Thank You” enough and wish nothing but the best going forward for Earthwise and each one of you!

I have heard retirement is a lot like a long trip to Vegas, you want to run out of time before you run out of money, so hoping that is true!  Hope to see you all on the back nine."

The team at Earthwise has benefited greatly from Bob's leadership, support, experience, and passion for the business for years. We can't thank him enough for giving us the opportunity to do what we love for years to come. One of the best quailities he instilled in Earthwise is our commitment to improvement. At the end of a hard day, we all believe we can make it better tomorrow by being the change we want to see - for our clients, for the industry, and for each other.
